A special mention must go to Denis Jones for all the efforts he has made in the getting a water truck for the club, he had personally spent months of his own spare time (which I'm sure he doesn't have much of!!) getting it all ready , running and painted up, and it looks really good!!  So much work goes on behind the scenes to keep this great club running and we really need more help at times.  If you know of anybody that has a little free time and likes motor racing, I'm sure we could find something for them to do , just get in contact with anybody on the contact page.

We will be seriously looking into signage and sponsorship around the track and in high visabilty spots such as on the canteen, light towers, control tower, and on the new water truck. With around 12 race meets and the Pocket Racing Bikes probably using our track  for their racing,  a lot of potential customers will be viewing your signs, stay tuned as we begin to work out packages.

********* Next Race Sat  28th October under lights -  oval track racing. We will definately not cancel race due to lack of noms.  Come and enjoy a night of close racing. Full canteen and bar facilities!*********

Thanks to all who attended our education day, we had a few new drivers out there including a couple of youngsters who had a good run together. The others (myself included) had a chance to try new karts or changes to settings without the pressure of a race day. The full track proved to be very popular, though with the strong winds it tended to dry out rather quickly. Everyone enjoyed the BBQ afterwards!  I would like to extend my thanks to  all members for the tireless efforts to keep this great club up and running.

********* Education Day Sunday 24th September. All interested people welcome!!*********

As a result of our special meeting last month it was decided that for the remainder of the year we will run all night meetings as an oval track. Also please note that we will NOT cancel the race meetings due to lack of nominations. Our main problem being the $300.00 cost of hiring a generator to power our lights had in the past meant we have had to cancel due to falling numbers, but we will definately run these races no matter what. .We may possibly be changing to more day meets next year hopefully going back to full track and having a couple of special night meets using the oval track.

There will be an advert in this weeks Country Times, tell all your friends too, we need some new drivers!! Be warned though...its very addictive :)
